The SHEAT Alumni Association is the heart that connects the proud past of our graduates with the vibrant present of our students and faculty. Founded with the vision to foster a lifelong connection between alumni and the institution, the Association promotes a strong, mutually beneficial relationship between SHEAT College of Engineering, its alumni, and the current student community.
Since its inception, the association has grown into a vibrant network of over 3,000 registered members who continue to inspire and uplift the SHEAT legacy in various spheres of industry, research, entrepreneurship, and public service.

Key Engagements & Contributions
Annual Alumni Meet
Our much-anticipated yearly event brings alumni back to campus, offering a space to reconnect, network, and celebrate their shared journey with faculty and students.
Student Mentorship & Support
Alumni actively engage with current students through:
- Career talks and industry-readiness sessions
- Guest lectures on emerging technologies
- Competitive exam guidance (IES, PSUs, etc.)
- Counseling for higher education and study abroad opportunities
Placement Collaboration
SHEAT alumni are key enablers in:
- Referring students for job opportunities in their organizations
- Encouraging employers to participate in campus recruitment
- Organizing mock interviews and resume development workshops
Alumni-Student-Faculty Bridge
The association is led by an Executive Council comprising 4 office bearers and up to 7 members. Additionally, each department has 2 nominated faculty coordinators to strengthen interactions between students, faculty, and alumni on areas of academic and professional interest.
