Sports Events
SHEAT College of Polytechnic, Varanasi, was established in 2012 at the Babatpur campus of the SHEAT Group. It offers 3-year (6-semester) diploma programmes affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh (BTEUP) and approved by AICTE. The college believes that physical fitness and sportsmanship are part of a well-rounded technical education.
Sports at SHEAT
Students use the sports facilities on campus for indoor and outdoor games. Sports events give students a break from academic routine and teach discipline, teamwork and fair play.

- Fitness and wellness activities
- Participation in sports events organised by other institutions
How Students Can Participate
Notices about sports events, team selection and registration are shared with students before each event. Students interested in a particular sport should give their names to the sports in-charge or the Dean of Students' Activities. Students taking part are expected to follow the rules of the event and the college code of conduct.
Balance With Academics
Sports events are scheduled so that they do not clash with examinations and practicals. Students who represent the college are encouraged to keep up with their coursework.
