The Women Cell of the institute is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for all female students, faculty, and staff.
It works towards promoting gender equality, dignity, and well-being, in alignment with the guidelines of University Grants Commission (UGC) and Indian Nursing Council.
Objectives
- Ensure a safe, harassment-free environment on campus and in hostels
- Promote gender sensitization and awareness
- Address gender-based issues, discrimination, and grievances
- Promote awareness about women’s rights, health and career growth
- Encourage leadership and participation of women in academic and extra curricular activities
Roles & Responsibilities
- Address complaints related to sexual harassment and gender-based issues
- Conduct awareness programs, workshops, and seminars
- Provide counseling and guidance support
Complaint & Support System
The Women Cell ensures a confidential, unbiased, and supportive mechanism for addressing complaints.
Conduct surprise checks in hostel and common areas.
How to Report:
- Submit a written complaint to the Women Cell
- Contact any Women Cell member
All complaints are handled with strict confidentiality and timely action.
