Ensuring a Safe, Respectful, and Ragging-Free Campus Environment

The SHEAT College of Paramedical has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee in strict compliance with the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, various High Court orders, and regulations issued by the Indian Nursing Council and University Grants Commission.

The institution follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and disciplined academic environment for all students, especially fresh entrants.

Purpose

  • Prevent ragging on campus, in hostels, and during college transport/events
  • Create a safe environment for freshers
  • Take immediate action if any ragging incident is reported
  • Spread awareness about the law against ragging

Punishments for Ragging (As per Guidelines)

Ragging is a punishable offense and may lead to:

  • Suspension from attending classes
  • Expulsion from the institution
  • Withholding of scholarships/fellowships
  • Debarment from examinations
  • Filing of FIR and legal action under applicable laws
  • Cancellation of admission
