Women Cell
Promoting Equality, Empowerment, and Safety in Pharmaceutical Education
The SHEAT College of Pharmacy has established a Women Cell to promote gender equality, ensure the safety and well-being of female students and staff, and create a supportive, inclusive, and respectful campus environment. The cell functions in alignment with the guidelines of the Pharmacy Council of India and relevant statutory provisions for women’s safety in educational institutions.
The Women Cell works proactively to address issues related to harassment, discrimination, and gender sensitivity. It provides guidance, counselling, and support to ensure that female students and staff can pursue their academic and professional goals without fear or bias.
Comprising senior faculty members, administrative staff, and student representatives, the Women Cell actively organizes awareness programs, workshops, and seminars focused on women’s rights, legal awareness, health, and personal safety. The initiative contributes to building a culture of dignity, respect, and equal opportunity within the institution.
